The Selected Works.
Places we've made people want to stay in, and the bookings that came from it.
Otters Holt:
The place people ask for by name
Otters Holt is a lakeside stay in the Cotswolds. It was on the listing sites, buried among hundreds of others that looked much the same. We gave it a look of its own and a website that takes bookings directly, so now people come looking for it by name.
Styling and photography that showed what actually makes the place special. Not another house in a list - somewhere specific, that speaks to the sort of guest they want.
The Look.
78% more bookings than the same month the year before. 3,200 people handed over their details at around 4p each.
The Results.
A website of their own, and a list of guests to go with it. No more 18% going to a booking platform — on a £1,000 stay, that's £180 staying in their pocket.
The Independence.
Short Films:
The feel of a place, in motion.
Photos show someone a room.
Video puts them in it.
A sauna on a mezzanine in Split. A bath on a balcony in Barbados at sunset. A few seconds of the right thing is often what turns someone from idly watching into actually booking.
Before I worked with places to stay, I co-owned a luxury cake brand for four years. It went from a kitchen table to six figures a year, with 90,000 followers around the world.
Outrageous Cakes
Products designed to be photographed and passed around. People didn't just want the cake - they wanted to be seen with it.
The Look.
Six figures a year, coming in through the content itself. No physical shop, no sales team.
The Results.
90,000 followers, built by posting things people wanted to share. Every launch became an event on its own, without paying for ads.
The Reach.
Want people to see your place like this?
Whether it's photography, short films, or a website that takes bookings directly, the aim is the same: work that looks beautiful and brings in bookings.
